Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of Americas’ Curriculum 

   

The Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God: God’s classroom, every church is a classroom, and every member is a disciple.

In this presentation we will use the outline from Dr. R.C. Sproul’s book “What Every Christian Needs to Grow.” The chapters of the book are as follows:

• How to Study the Bible

• How to Pray

• How to Worship

• How to Serve

• How to be a good Stewart

The materials from the book are great however, we may want to add some of our own.

This is where we will begin. Everyone will be introduced to these studies. The Bishops, Elders, Pastors, Ministers, Lay Leaders, and all Saints. These elements are essential to our individual and collective growth.

The Fuller Normal School of Religion will provide the following curriculum:

Each course of study will move from the general to the specific until completion.

Foundations:  Bible, Theology (Doctrine), Church History, Christian Education, Practical Theology

Intermediate: Section of the Bible – Old Testament, New Testament, Pentateuch, Synoptics, Pauline Epistles, General Epistles

 

Theology (Doctrine): Doctrines of Salvation, Doctrine of the Trinity. Doctrine of the Holy Spirit of Doctrine of sanctification, Historical Theology.

 

Church History:  Early Church History, History of the Medieval Period, History of the Reformation, Holiness-Pentecostal Church History

 

Practical Theology:  Sermon Preparation Sermon Delivery, Ministerial Etiquette, Ministerial Ethics, Conducting the Business, Church Administration

 

People to Train:   All Elders will be required to attend the School of Religion, Pastors- Selected or All?, DRE’s and Sunday School Superintendents
